Pre-Operative Assessment Team Lead Opportunity

Spire Wellesley is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Operative Assessment Team Lead to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our Pre-Operative Assessment service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective pre-operative care for our patients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Assessment and 1 year's experience in a Team Lead capacity. You will be responsible for supervising the Pre-Assessment team, ensuring the safe assessment of patients, and working closely with the POA Manager to achieve service goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the Pre-Assessment team to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Conduct advanced level assessments of patients to determine fitness for surgery
  • Work closely with the POA Manager to achieve service goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety

Requirements

  • NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Pre-Assessment and 1 year's experience in a Team Lead capacity
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
