Essential Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Successful completion of part 1 FRCOphth examination
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in Ophthalmology, excluding foundation modules
  • Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to apply sound clinical judgment
  • Effective time and information management skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and resilience in adapting to challenges and changing circumstances

Desirable Qualifications

  • Evidence of relevant academic and research accomplishments, including degrees, awards, and publications
  • Proven ability to perform ophthalmic procedures
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching, including the provision of feedback
