Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Education Support Professional. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students with complex learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in their academic and personal development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist teaching staff in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities to meet individual needs and abilities.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting independence, equality, and respect.
  • Implement individualized education plans, behavior, and personal care strategies to support students' progress.
  • Occasionally support learners with personal care and administer medication (full training will be provided).

Requirements

  • We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting our students and providing them with opportunities to thrive.
  • Previous experience of working with children in an education and/or care environment is desirable.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with young people with learning disabilities.
  • Good ICT skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
