Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to senior leaders and managers, ensuring that the workforce is aligned to achieve business priorities and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior leaders and managers
  • Lead and manage the HR interface with managers and staff
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of plans to improve people management skills of senior leaders and managers
  • Coach leaders and managers to develop skills and competencies for effective people management
  • Work in collaboration with education and training department to design and deliver training and development programmes
  • Lead on the development of annual workforce plans
  • Monitor trends in relation to workforce resourcing and take appropriate action
  • Accountable for the effective management of employee relation issues
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (or equivalent)
  • Project management qualifications (desirable)
  • Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic HR policies
  • In-depth knowledge and application of Human Resources best practice
  • Project management methodology
  • Knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions (Agenda for Change and Medical and Dental terms and conditions of service)
  • Working knowledge of business analytics and interpretation
  • Specialist HR experience of one or more of the following areas: performance management, business planning, developing strategy, workforce planning
