Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Quality Assurance representative throughout the product lifecycle to guarantee manufacturability, dependability, and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in Quality Management System (QMS) tasks including Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Material Review Board (MRB) activities, and deviations.
  • Perform audits of external suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze root causes of issues and formulate strategies for both immediate and long-term resolutions.
  • Act as the quality liaison for new product initiatives, support supplier performance assessments, and prioritize corrective actions for identified issues.
  • Identify and execute enhancements to processes and systems to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality Management system.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

A degree in an Engineering or Science discipline, or equivalent experience in a related area.

Professional Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, with experience in ISO 13485 and 21 CFR part 820 being advantageous.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with supplier quality management and continuous improvement methodologies.

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for creating clear reports and effectively engaging with team members.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for generating reports and conducting data analysis.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be necessary for supplier evaluations and audits.
