Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Design Quality Engineer, Clinical to join our team at Waters Corporation. This role will be responsible for leading the development of clinical design quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading quality assurance activities supporting product development in a medical device environment, including ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and applicable good manufacturing practice regulations. They will also have strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical design quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality assurance strategies
  • Provide guidance and support to design quality engineers and clinical teams on quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as chemistry, medical science, or engineering
  • Extensive experience in leading quality assurance activities in a medical device environment
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
