About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reception Team Member to join our team at Crowne Plaza Reading. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and processing payments.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Proven customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
