Senior Children's Health Care Professional

Lagans Foundation is a leading provider of specialist home healthcare to children aged 0 to 19. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Children's Health Care Worker to join our team in Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Area Care Team Leader to manage an internal care team, delivering a first-class care service to children aged 0 to 19.
- Deliver high-quality care to children within their own homes and in the community, promoting positive life experiences and choices.
- Develop a team of carers, building strong relationships with other staff and families to provide exceptional care at every stage.
- Manage on-call out-of-hours calls on a rota with the management team.
- Support the Area Care Team Leader with team member supervisions and observations.
- Complete Level 2 TQUK Care for children and infants with heart defects and feeding difficulties.
- Complete induction and leadership training.
- Attend and co-host team meetings to share best practice and resolve challenges.
- Complete ongoing 6-weekly supervisions.
- Mentor and buddy new members of staff following completion of probation.
- Source additional activities for children to engage with during term and non-term time.
- Proven experience working with children and young people.
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C and above or equivalent.
- Level 2 Health and Social Care or L2 Care in the Community for infants and children with Heart Defects or Feeding Issues.
- Ability to complete documents via mobile apps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use IT packages relevant to the role.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work independently and to deadlines.
- Car driver with own car and business use insurance.
