Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Consultant to join our team. As a Supply Chain Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to identify and solve complex supply chain challenges, increase value, and maximize business efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent expert advice to clients to help identify and solve supply chain challenges
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and operating models to improve client performance
  • Design and implement supply chain solutions to optimize client operations and reduce costs
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and industry trends
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure high client satisfaction through effective communication and timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (2:1) or higher in a related subject or equivalent experience in a related role
  • Experience of working in Supply Chain Sales and Operations
  • Well-developed core consulting skills, including research, analysis, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Aptitude to grasp new concepts and effectively produce results
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, including analytical, innovative, and creative thinking
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-directed and an independent contributor to the team
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning
  • Exceptional client service and a sound work ethic
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Desirable Qualifications
  • Business Improvement Qualification (Lean, Kanban, Six Sigma etc)
  • S&OP training or supply chain qualification (APICS, CPIM, CIPs or CILT)
  • Experience of business or Defence
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Visio
  • Ability to lead teams and structure and manage intensive workloads
  • High degree of emotional intelligence to effectively deal with increasingly diverse clients and teams
  • Confidence and maturity to work with senior executives
