Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Admiral Nurse to join our team at Signature Senior Lifestyle Operations Ltd. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Dementia Care Managers in the operational delivery of our My Life Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialist Nursing Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, practical advice, and emotional support to families of individuals with dementia, care team members, and where appropriate, the individuals themselves.
  • Operational Support: Assist Dementia Care Managers in delivering the My Life Strategy, ensuring a high standard of dementia care across our homes.
  • Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for care home team members and families living with dementia, enhancing the skills and competencies of the care team.
  • Practice Development: Participate in the development, evaluation, and audit of this specialist area of practice.
  • Bereavement Support: Offer support at all stages, including bereavement, to ensure comprehensive care for families and residents.
Requirements
  • A full driving license is essential as it is a requirement to travel across our home portfolio as part of this role.
  • Desired Qualifications and Skills:
    • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
    • Experience in dementia care and a passion for improving the lives of those affected by dementia.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
