Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to manage our new and growing Enhanced Care Team at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients who require close supervision. This will involve:

  • Developing and implementing care plans that meet the individual needs of patients
  • Coordinating the work of the Enhanced Care Team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Collaborating with medical staff to maintain a culture that supports our trust values
  • Ensuring high standards of care, quality, and patient safety
  • Participating in complex discharge planning and best interest meetings for patients

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified for 5 years
  • Significant years of experience at Band 6 in an acute setting
  • Knowledge of HR and roster management

Desirable qualifications and skills include:

  • Experience in elderly care setting
  • Phlebotomy, cannulation, and ECG skills
  • Diploma/BSc in Nursing/relevant subject or equivalent
