Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to lead our Enhanced Care Team in providing high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional leadership and clinical expertise to the Enhanced Care Team.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with medical wards to maintain a culture that supports our trust values.
  • Ensure high standards of care, quality, and patient safety.
  • Support team members with debriefing sessions and problem-solving.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Qualified for 5 years
  • Significant years of experience at Band 6 in an acute setting
  • Knowledge of HR and roster management

Desirable:

  • Experience in elderly care setting

Qualifications:

  • RGN
  • Recognised teaching and assessing certificate
  • Evidence of continuous professional development

Skills:

  • Evidence of effective management skills; problem-solving decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership qualities

Knowledge:

  • Ability to organise/prioritise care within an acute setting
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of equal opportunities
