Child Care Advocate

Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Participation Officer to support and advocate for children and young people in the Liverpool area.
Main Responsibilities:- To oversee and coordinate participation activities within the service, ensuring the effective involvement of children and young people.
- To implement and coordinate the Mind of My Own initiative within the service, promoting meaningful feedback and consultation.
- To support the corporate parenting committee, ensuring the voice of children in care and care leavers is heard and valued.
- To provide high-quality feedback to children in care, ensuring their concerns and opinions are addressed.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a recognized professional qualification in social care or a related field.
- Proven experience working within social care or childcare settings, with a focus on direct work with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
This is a 6-month initial placement, with a hybrid working pattern requiring on-site work at least 2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in IT systems, confident in communication, and able to produce high-quality work under pressure.
