Job Summary:

Neway International Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Social Work Specialist to join our team with the Adult Careline Social Services department. This role involves working closely with the management team to develop and lead the Social Care workforce, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and standards for vulnerable adults and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry a caseload of Service Users with complex needs, providing professional supervision and support to Social Workers as required.
  • Model and facilitate reflective practice, promoting the development of Social Workers and the Social Care workforce.
  • Support the management team in the development and leadership of the Social Care workforce, ensuring the safeguarding and promotion of the wellbeing of vulnerable adults and their families.
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to colleagues and other professionals in situations of high complexity, promoting innovation and introducing new ways of working from recognized sites of excellence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • SW Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with HCPC and Approved Mental Health Professional status.
  • Qualification as a Best Interest Assessor or willingness to undertake training.
  • Qualified as a Practice Educator.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week in an ongoing contract.
