Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a new and innovative council service; a multi-use resource centre and hub for single homeless people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a small multi-disciplinary team to deliver a co-produced and psychologically-informed support service to prevent and tackle homelessness.
- Undertake all service management including managing a small team, all aspects of the physical environment and delivery of a comprehensive offer of support, recreation and opportunity for single homeless adults.
- Join a proactive and motivated Commissioning and Housing-Support team, responsible for managing this key new service for adults at risk of homelessness and rough sleeping in the Borough.
- Use your skills to create a stable and focused environment, achieving genuine outcomes and tackling the causes and effects of homelessness with a personalised, collaborative and dynamic approach.
About the Role:
This role will be varied, fast-paced and outcome focused, requiring a solution-focused and motivated individual to deliver a ground-breaking 'Hub' service.
Requirements:
- Experience managing relevant homelessness services.
- Skills in co-production, staff management and partnership working.
- Confidence in delivering a comprehensive offer of support, recreation and opportunity for single homeless adults.
