Care Training Specialist

Qualifications:
No previous teaching or training experience is necessary; our organization will equip you with all the resources and support required to become a certified trainer.

Current Roles:
You may currently hold positions such as Care Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Senior Carer.


Work Arrangement:
This role offers a hybrid model, combining remote work with travel to meet learners in various locations (all travel expenses covered).

Compensation:
Starting salary of £27,000.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Care Training Specialist, you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while also visiting different sites within your region to engage with your learners in person. A typical week will consist of 2-3 days of travel to meet your apprentices, with the remainder of the week spent working from home, conducting online meetings, and handling administrative tasks.

Your Duties Will Include:
  • Collaborating with adult care apprentices in their workplaces and online.
  • Utilizing your industry expertise to educate the next generation of care professionals.
  • Meeting new apprentices to assess their learning requirements.
  • Assisting apprentices with their functional skills, emphasizing the importance of English and mathematics in their roles.
  • Visiting employers to provide feedback on their apprentices' competencies.
  • Building relationships with local employers.
  • Completing administrative and planning tasks using Google Suite and internal systems.

Candidate Profile:
We seek enthusiastic care professionals eager to share their knowledge and make a significant impact in the industry. To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Proven experience at the Care Manager, Registered Manager, or Deputy Care Manager level.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Adult Care (or a related field).
  • Strong technological and administrative skills.
  • A willingness to obtain a Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and mathematics.
  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for regional travel.
