About the Organization

Service Care Solutions is actively seeking dedicated individuals to join their Connected Care division. This department is renowned for delivering essential services to at-risk individuals. We are looking for two Connected Care Equipment Specialists to enhance our Connected Care Service.

Position Overview


The Connected Care Equipment Specialist will be crucial in guaranteeing that all devices are installed, removed, and serviced securely and efficiently, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.

This role necessitates the use of various tools and ladders.

The selected candidate will also be tasked with ensuring that all clients and their family members or caregivers comprehend the operation of the equipment and can utilize it effectively.

The work schedule spans Monday to Saturday, with only one Saturday required each month. The working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, totaling 36 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install and maintain telecare systems and emergency response devices in the homes of vulnerable clients.
2. Travel to clients' residences to set up equipment.
3. Ensure that all devices are installed, removed, and serviced securely and efficiently to maintain service continuity.
4. Educate clients and their family members or caregivers on the proper use of the equipment.
5. Utilize tools and ladders for installation and maintenance tasks.
6. Operate council fleet vehicles for client visits.
7. Successfully complete the council's driving assessment to operate fleet vehicles.
8. Use personal vehicles temporarily and receive mileage reimbursement.

Essential Qualifications

1. Proven experience in installing and maintaining telecare systems and emergency response devices in the homes of vulnerable clients.
2. A valid, clean UK driving license.
3. Experience in traveling to clients' homes for equipment installation.
4. Proficient in using tools and ladders for installation and maintenance.
5. Enhanced DBS clearance.
