The Accounts Management Specialist plays a vital role within the front office team, serving as the primary liaison for guests while working closely with the Sales Division.

This position is accountable for optimizing revenue by leading the team in managing reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations from guests through various communication channels.

This role is essential in promoting loyalty program enrollments and assisting in data analysis to uncover revenue enhancement opportunities.
Allocate rooms based on guest preferences and requests whenever feasible. Pre-register selected guests and prepare key packets. Organize and oversee check-in/pre-registration processes for arriving groups. Monitor and accommodate requests for room or check-out modifications when possible; communicate updates to relevant staff. Confirm reservations and cancellations. Review out-of-order rooms on a daily basis. Ensure pricing aligns with market codes and document any exceptions. Verify and adjust guest billing as necessary. Maintain guest documentation and paperwork. Facilitate all guest check-ins/check-outs. Activate room keys and secure valid payment. Identify any over-commitments and perform duplicate reservation checks; block rooms as needed. Generate daily reports. Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or concerns have been addressed satisfactorily. Accurately receive, record, and relay messages.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate tasks and collaborate with other departments; serve as a role model or mentor within the department; assign and ensure timely completion of work tasks that meet quality standards.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional appearance; uphold confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets.

Communicate clearly and professionally with others; prepare and review written documents thoroughly; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.

Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common objectives; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees.

Read and visually verify information in various formats. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned.
