About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Activity Coordinator in the Brainbow Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with brain tumours to increase, diversify, and encourage physical and daily activity during treatment and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy related duties for children with brain tumours in the Brainbow Service, as directed by, and under the supervision of a qualified Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist.
  • Support the development and implementation of individual treatment plans to promote physical and daily activity for children with brain tumours.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including maintaining accurate records and reports.

Requirements
  • Good general education to GCSE or equivalent, including evidence of literacy and numeracy skills.

  • Experience of working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a paediatric setting.
