Role Overview:

As a pivotal member of our innovation team, the Senior Project Officer will serve as the primary liaison for businesses across the region seeking to navigate the landscape of innovation support. This position is essential in fostering connections that empower businesses, regardless of their size, to leverage available resources for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to innovation-driven business assistance.
  • Proactively assess the innovation needs of businesses and facilitate relevant connections to support networks and resources.
  • Establish and maintain a robust online and offline presence as a trusted source for innovation support.
  • Oversee the business support inquiry processes to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Cultivate strong relationships within the innovation ecosystem, staying informed about the latest offerings available to businesses.
  • Collaborate with various organizations to identify gaps in support and contribute to the innovation strategy.
  • Organize and manage events that encourage businesses to explore innovative ideas and available support services.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance the utilization of key innovation assets.
  • Assist in sourcing and supporting funding applications for new innovation programs.
