E-Commerce Manager Job Description

About the Role:

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for ensuring the company's corporate web activities are working effectively, serving as a virtual shop window for the organisation and its products. This involves creating and maintaining all online content, ensuring it accurately reflects the brand, is optimised for discoverability, and is kept up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Communications, and Buying teams to create and maintain online content.
  • Develop and implement content projects, ensuring synergy between teams and maximising website success against departmental goals.
  • Use knowledge of SEO best practices to ensure all content is optimised for search engines.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organisation to shape and plan content projects.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of best practices and user experience, as well as knowledge of SEO principles. They will be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders and execute on delivery. Experience in a similar role is essential, and a strong understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce principles is required.
