**Job Title:** Environmental Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our team in London. As an Environmental Advisor, you will be responsible for championing the implementation of our business sustainability strategy and developing and monitoring project commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Champion Sustainability Strategy:** Develop and implement the business sustainability strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • **Environmental Management:** Ensure compliance with the LOR Energy and Environmental Management System on the project, providing technical advice and support to the project, client, and contractors.
  • **Training and Development:** Review, advise, and deliver environmental training required for project staff and operatives, engaging with the workforce around environmental issues.
  • **Innovation and Best Practice:** Develop, implement, and share innovation and best practice to address environmental issues, liaising with statutory bodies and obtaining relevant consents.
  • **KPI Tracking and Data Gathering:** Monitor environmental performance, track KPIs, and gather data for reporting purposes.
Requirements
  • **High-Level Drive and Commitment:** Possess a high level of personal drive and commitment, with effective goal-setting ability.
  • **Strategic Thinking:** Be capable of taking strategic views of environmental requirements and agreeing and implementing resultant plans.
  • **Communication and Relationship Building:** Ability to communicate effectively at all management levels and build and maintain good working relationships.
  • **ISO14001 and ISO50001:** Understanding of the requirements of ISO14001 and ISO50001 and management of compliance with Management Systems.
  • **BREEAM or LEED:** Experience in delivery of BREEAM or LEED, similar sustainability assessment schemes.
Qualifications
  • **Membership:** Membership of IEMA, IES, or IEEM (minimum of practitioner or equivalent desired).
  • **Relevant Degree:** Relevant undergraduate degree in Environmental management, sustainability, environmental sciences, or similar.
  • **BREEAM AP:** BREEAM AP certification.
