Job Title: Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

Metropolitan Gaming Group is a leading gaming and leisure brand that offers exceptional experiences and services to its guests. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding customer service and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the F&B Manager in achieving the highest possible standards of customer service and profitability.
  • Recommend and plan changes to product, experience, and service standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and organize F&B employees, facilities, equipment, and raw materials to ensure high standards of product preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Ensure F&B staff have the necessary training, equipment, facilities, and resources to complete their duties effectively.
  • Provide and ensure staff provide outstanding customer service and guest relations at all times.
  • Make recommendations to senior management on improving Guest Satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the selection, recruitment, training, appraisal, motivation, coaching, and counseling of F&B staff members.
  • Comply with all accounting, control, and financial procedures to safeguard stocks, monies, and facilities.
  • Comply with all current legislation and company procedures, including employment, licensing, hygiene, health, and safety, and gaming.
  • Foster outstanding coordination and communication with all departments to ensure guest experience is optimized.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and effective working environment for all staff.
Required Skills:

  • Experienced in managing large, fast-paced, multi-faceted operations.
  • Experienced in managing staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Personal Licence Holder.
  • A good knowledge of service standards relating to food, wines, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic drinks and beverages.
  • Comfortable communicating with guests and fellow employees verbally and in writing, and making presentations to senior management.
  • A great sense of humor.
  • A great organizer, good persuader, great salesperson.
  • A positive and upbeat attitude.
  • A high level of personal integrity.
  • A strong work ethic with a passion for exceeding expectations.
