About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Glasgow Science Centre. As a key member of our F&B department, you will be responsible for the daily supervision, development, and operation of our catering outlets, including the Café and Corporate Events.

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will assist the Event Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager in the operational delivery of all catering outlets and Corporate Events activities. You will also supervise the catering outlets and corporate events under the direction of the Events and Food & Beverage Management Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction through an integrated and co-ordinated 5-star service level to all customers at point of contact.
  • Assist with training and development of a responsive catering team to ensure 5-star customer service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the Events and Food & Beverage Management Team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new ideas and initiatives to enhance the F&B experience for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
