About the Role:

Listgrove Ltd is seeking a skilled Rubber Tool Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design and development team, you will play a crucial role in helping our client, a leading manufacturer of rubber seals and mouldings, diversify its market sector and customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine tool and product designs with customers, considering factors such as materials and performance requirements.
  • Conduct competitive product analysis and provide possible solutions that the sales team can promote to prospective customers.
  • Work with the commercial team to produce proposals and costings.
  • Using CAD Software and other design tools, create product drawings, tool designs and specifications to produce prototypes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, design specifications and testing procedures.
  • Cross functional communication ensuring all involved are knowledgeable of project progress.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Proven tool design and development experience using rubber materials.
  • Technically adept mechanical design engineer. Experienced tool designer with experience with product design. Proficiency in CAD with other design tools.
