About the Role

As a Design and Development Engineer at Listgrove Ltd, you will play a key role in helping the company expand its market sector and customer base by developing bespoke rubber solutions. This customer-facing and technical position reports directly to the Commercial Manager and requires a strong understanding of materials and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and refine tool and product designs, considering factors such as materials and performance requirements.
  • Conduct competitive product analysis and provide possible solutions that the sales team can promote to prospective customers.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to produce proposals and costings.
  • Utilize CAD Software and other design tools to create product drawings, tool designs, and specifications to produce prototypes.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, design specifications, and testing procedures.
  • Ensure cross-functional communication to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress.
Requirements
  • Degree-educated in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in tool design and development using rubber materials.
  • Technical aptitude in mechanical design engineering, with proficiency in CAD and other design tools.
