We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Beverage Team at the exclusive Everglades Hotel.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the bar area, adhering to Hastings Hotels' high standards.
  • Prepare and serve beverages and snacks, taking orders and processing payments efficiently.
  • Greet guests and respond to their queries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ensure all cash, charges, and till procedures are carried out correctly.
  • Use equipment and bar pumps efficiently, minimizing waste and maintaining proper measures.
  • Maintain the security of stock areas, reporting any breaches immediately.
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel's offerings and proactively promote them to guests.
  • Address guest concerns politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to create a harmonious working environment, treating all employees with respect and dignity.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.
About You

We welcome applicants with previous experience in the hospitality industry, but it's not essential. Our Food and Beverage Managers will provide full training to ensure your success in this role.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and basic numeracy skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Previous bar experience gained in a quality hotel/bar.
  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent, with grades A-C in English and Maths.
