We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Complex Care Support Worker to join our team at Snap Care. As a key member of our care team, you will provide 2:1 support to a young lady with complex care needs, promoting her independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 2:1 support to a young lady with complex care needs, including assistance with daily living activities, health care, and medical needs.
- Work collaboratively with the client's family, therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the client's needs are met.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to promote the client's independence and well-being.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the client, engaging in activities that promote her interests and hobbies.
- Maintain accurate records of the client's care and progress, reporting any concerns or issues to the relevant authorities.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, including suctioning, manual handling, and medical procedures.
- Confident and competent in all aspects of manual handling and care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends, with a minimum of 30 hours per week available.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (WAV) for use on duty.
- Competitive hourly rate of up to £20.80 gross per hour.
