We deliver projects from inception to completion, embracing challenges to empower communities worldwide. Our Economics Department in London is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Urban Economist to join our team.
Job SummaryWe provide strategic, economic, and financial advisory services at every stage of the project development process to help deliver clients' visions. This includes identifying development opportunities and strategies, formulating and testing the viability of plans, and creating a sound evidence base to inform clients' decision-making.
Responsibilities- Lead in the development of economic strategies for regional/urban/industrial plans using a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Coordinate and liaise with other disciplines in project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all quality assurance/control requirements in line with internal processes.
- Contribute to project proposals and other business development activities as required.
- Travel for client meetings/workshops as needed.
- Strong first degree in a relevant discipline (Economics, Urban and Regional Planning, Real Estate Development, or similar).
- Postgraduate qualification (MSc or MBA) an advantage.
- 3-7+ years of relevant consulting or project development experience.
- Technical skills: good technical capabilities and experience in providing professional economic advice across a range of projects, experience in managing time and resources to meet project deadlines within budget, and demonstrable experience in leading teams in the delivery of projects.
