We are seeking a skilled Estates Manager to join our Property team. As an Estates Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties across the UK and Ireland, working closely with the Head of Estates and other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our property management and lease issues.
The successful candidate will have 3 years or more experience in property or estates management, with a strong understanding of property law and regulations. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
The Estates Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Head of Estates in managing the property portfolio, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and regears.
- Liaising with various departments to provide advice and assistance on property management and lease issues.
- Collaborating with construction and FM colleagues to interpret legal arrangements and provide advice on repairing obligations.
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure rents and other legal and financial liabilities are paid on time and supporting cost mitigation strategies.
- Developing and maintaining the Property Asset Register, ensuring robust document management and property information systems are maintained.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative and stable Property team, working closely with a fellow Estates Surveyor. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £52,000 plus a car allowance of £5,000.
