About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Hadrian House in Gateshead. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that the best care plans are created and delivered for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and supervising your shift to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
  • Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure that care plans are effective and delivered
  • Administering and recording medication in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Carrying out risk assessments to identify potential hazards and take steps to mitigate them
  • Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
  • Working closely with the leadership team to develop services and improve the overall quality of care
  • Providing a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to lead and supervise others
  • Good understanding of care planning processes
  • Experience in or willingness to undertake training on administering medication
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, and families
