About the Role

Marsden is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President, Asset Management to join our team. As a key member of our Asset Management sector, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on legal and regulatory issues related to OTC and exchange-traded derivatives trading.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal and regulatory advice on derivatives trading, including equity, rates, and FX asset classes
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market structure and digital/crypto asset landscape
  • Collaborate with global legal teams and other legal and compliance groups to drive business growth and success
  • Work closely with colleagues to identify and mitigate risks, and develop solutions to complex problems
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives that align with Marsden's goals and objectives
Requirements
  • 2-6 years' experience in private practice and/or in-house, with a strong understanding of legal and regulatory issues related to derivatives trading
  • Proven track record of providing expert advice and guidance to senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility
