Senior Cost Management Specialist

L&Q's Commercial division within Property Services is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Cost Management Specialist to oversee a vibrant new team. This position reports directly to the Head of Commercial and entails leading a group of 5 professionals with diverse expertise.

  • Guide and nurture a team of cost management professionals
  • Ensure effective financial and contractual oversight of projects
  • Oversee primary and subcontractors to secure optimal value
  • Implement strategies to mitigate contract-related issues
  • Deliver precise financial forecasting and budget management
  • Assist colleagues in adhering to contractual protocols
  • Possess strong commercial insight and sound legal/contractual understanding

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree or possess equivalent experience and may be affiliated with CIOB/RICS, though this is not a strict requirement. Some travel between offices may be necessary, with expenses reimbursed.
