Job Title: M&E Project Manager

Job Summary:

Advance TRS is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead the delivery of water sector projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of the M&E project engineering team, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects from outline design to project acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the M&E project engineering team to deliver projects in a safe and efficient manner, covering outline design to project acceptance stages of the project life cycle.
  • Work with the programme team to ensure overall programme performance, including design, procurement, project controls, and contract administration.
  • Promote empowerment of the team, ensuring each team member is fully engaged and making a meaningful contribution.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party delivery partners to ensure value for money.
  • Accountable for the effective management of M&E aspects of the project life cycle, including supply chain design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover to the client.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in project management, with a track record of delivering projects in a design and build environment or related industries.
  • Ability to understand the complexity of major projects and believe in their value and future success.
  • Sound project management and commercial judgment.
  • Understanding of health and safety legislation, QA systems, and processes.
  • A sound appreciation of the commercial implications of project delays.
