As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering projects that meet the needs of our clients in the water, energy, transport, and telecommunications sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement project requirements to meet client specifications in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Work under minimum supervision and have the ability to check the work of others and supervise less experienced staff.
  • Carry out site visits and surveys, inspections, assessments, and supervise sub-contractors.
  • Prepare and check feasibility studies, inspections, assessments, and technical reports in an appropriate format ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Comply with the requirements of the CWA Management Systems, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and all other appropriate regulations.
  • Prepare and check design approaches, calculations, drawings, and documents.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practice and identify innovation and best practice for consideration.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree qualified.
  • Chartered or Incorporated (CEng/IEng) or working towards.
  • Previous utility industry knowledge and experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Good written and oral communication and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate and conversant with the MS Office suite.
