About The Role

Delivering Excellence in Water Infrastructure

M Group Services, a leading provider of essential infrastructure services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join its team. As a key member of our Caledonia Water Alliance, you will play a crucial role in delivering Scottish Water's SR21 Water and Wastewater Infrastructure programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement project requirements to meet client specifications, adhering to relevant standards and regulations.
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, and supervise junior staff to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to assess project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and review feasibility studies, technical reports, and other written documents to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Comply with CWA Management Systems, including Health & Safety, Environmental, and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and review design approaches, calculations, drawings, and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree qualification.
  • Chartered or Incorporated (CEng/IEng) or working towards.
  • Previous utility industry experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and computer skills.
