Position Overview

We are pleased to present a full-time opportunity for a Client Services Coordinator on a fixed-term contract.

This role will involve working across various locations, providing outstanding service to patients of our practices.

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a forward-thinking partnership with local healthcare providers, serving a significant patient population across multiple locations. Our workforce comprises over 500 dedicated professionals.

While your primary location will be within our organization, you may occasionally be required to assist at other sites, although we strive to maintain continuity for our patients.

Job Duties

- Manage incoming calls and address inquiries, directing individuals as necessary.

- Provide administrative support to clinical staff.

- Ensure accurate coding and filing of all Emergency Care documentation, distributing copies to relevant healthcare professionals.

- Offer non-clinical guidance to patients, families, the public, and both internal and external organizations.

- Oversee the ordering and maintenance of clinical and non-clinical stock levels.

- Accurately input confidential information received via telephone or in person into the appropriate systems.

- Handle correspondence, perform secretarial tasks, support nursing administration, and process patient referrals, including managing incoming and outgoing mail.

- Occasionally assist with clinical coding of patient records, ensuring all medical histories are accurately documented in the clinical system.

Qualifications

Essential

  • NVQ level 2 or higher in Customer Service, Administration, Healthcare, or equivalent experience.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with EMIS or SystemOne.
  • Training in Child Protection.
  • NSTS Training.
  • ECDL Certification.
