Job Summary

Northumberland County Council is seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) to fill the role of Service Manager - Clinical Lead at Sea Lodge, a CQC registered service providing nurse-led support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of registered nurses and social care staff to ensure high standards of care and treatment are maintained.
  • Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice within the service, adhering to operational policy and ensuring a safe and enabling environment for service users.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Adult Services Lead Manager to achieve service objectives and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Hold a RNLD qualification with significant post-registration experience.
  • Be able to work shift rotas, including weekends and night-time working, and meet the transport requirements of the role.
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
