Role: Technical Delivery Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join our client's team in the banking sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of IT Networks, supporting the opening of a new data centre. This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact and drive significant change in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects within established agile project management frameworks.
  • Provide technical guidance to enable efficient incident management.
  • Work closely with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Implement IT Network projects, ensuring technical capability is in place to support potential incidents.
  • Drive projects forward using technical expertise to aid decision making.
  • Ensure key deadlines are met and risks are mitigated within project timelines.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and drive changes as part of a Change Management programme.
  • Ensure the Bank's risk management frameworks are followed to minimise exposure to adverse influences.
  • Deliver excellence by utilising the Bank's existing development framework to provide opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects in a Data Centre environment.
  • Track record of implementing and leading improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Experience in taking projects through a governed process into a live environment.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to manage project finances and resources effectively.
