Join Our Team as a Clinical Research Project Coordinator

We are thrilled to announce a unique opportunity within the Imperial Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) for a Clinical Research Project Coordinator. The ECMC operates as a research support unit in collaboration with esteemed institutions, focusing on the execution of early phase clinical trials.

The successful candidate will primarily manage the Surgery and Intervention Science portfolio within the Imperial ECMC, while also providing support across various research themes as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination and follow-up of a diverse range of academically funded early phase studies.
  • Manage all facets of trial oversight, ensuring close collaboration with the Chief Investigator and Principal Investigators at affiliated centres.
  • Supervise associated study personnel and adapt established systems and processes to uphold the highest scientific and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor the integrity of data collected from electronic case report forms (eCRF) and patient records.
  • Engage in patient-facing activities, including obtaining consent, completing eCRFs, and facilitating trial processes.

We are in search of a dedicated, enthusiastic, and proactive individual who can seamlessly integrate into our team. A degree is required, along with demonstrable experience in managing research or clinical trials, project administration, and recruitment.

Essential Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the current EU Clinical Trials Directive and UK Clinical Trials regulations.
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Research Governance Framework legislation.
