Job Title: Senior HR Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team at Ortolan. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization.

About the Role:

The Senior HR Manager will be responsible for leading HR strategic projects, HRIS, performance appraisals, succession planning, compensation and benefits, leadership development, employer branding, reward, remuneration, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with the executive team to drive the global HR agenda and contribute to business success.
  2. Develop and champion a performance-driven culture with a merit-based performance appraisal system.
  3. Advise on recognition and reward programmes, fostering a culture of excellence.
  4. Oversee training and career development programs to ensure growth and retention.
  5. Devise and lead projects aimed at improving HR reporting, processes, and systems.
  6. Ensure compliance with international employment laws and stay ahead of regulatory changes in all operating regions.
  7. Develop innovative strategies to attract, engage, and retain world-class talent.
  8. Work in partnership with the operational management team to ensure effective objective setting & performance reviews.
  9. Guide and coach managers on all employee relations including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management.
  10. Guide and advise managers on all aspects of international HR laws and regulatory requirements.
  11. Build and lead a team of HR generalists to provide first-line HR support to the international business.
About You:

You will need to have experience supporting an international HR agenda. You will also lead on policy & procedures, leadership development, reward, HRIS, recruitment, and other specific projects.

  • Experience of working at senior HR Operations Manager level / HR Director level within a commercial environment.
  • Strong IT, data, and technical skills.
  • A superb people manager, experienced in managing, motivating, and developing an HR team.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to leverage data and logic in support of making a business case.
  • Collaborative with an enabling coaching style.
  • A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and experience of designing and delivering on HR initiatives.
