We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team based in Romford on a part-time basis, working 9am-3pm, Monday-Thursday.

About the opportunity:

This is a unique role where you will be responsible for delivering a generalist HR service, from administration to operational support for 90 employees. As the sole HR contact on site, you will have full autonomy with support from the HR team based at Head Office.

In particular, you will:

  • Provide advice and guidance to senior management and line managers on employment issues, HR policy, and best practice.
  • Support managers on disciplinary, absence, performance, grievance, and appeal matters, including attending meetings.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee retention.
  • Coordinate recruitment requirements for the business.
  • Research, develop, and implement HR solutions to address specific HR needs.
  • Undertake all HR transactional/administrative requirements to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor with a strong understanding of UK employment law and its practical application. You will have a professional, generalist HR background and at least one area of expertise in learning and development, organisational development, reward practice, HR technology solutions, resourcing, employee wellbeing, EDI, or employee relations.

You will have a "can-do" approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a highly organised way.
