About the Role

We are seeking an imaginative and inspiring Theatre Director to join our team at Secret Cinema, a division of TodayTix Group. As a key member of our creative team, you will conceive, design, and deliver immersive live experiences that align with our commercial vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute captivating concepts that blend Secret Cinema's practice with client goals.
  • Oversee the entire creative process, from initial conception to final delivery, ensuring artistic and technical excellence.
  • Lead creative teams in the development of live brand and corporate activations.
  • Collaborate with producers, creative teams, and stakeholders to deliver unforgettable shows that meet both creative and commercial objectives.
  • Work across a range of public-facing productions for Secret Cinema and TodayTix Live, alongside projects for Studio Secret Cinema, our brand experiences division.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience as a Lead Creative in live entertainment, theatre, or experiential industry, with a proven record of creative excellence.
  • Demonstrated success in creating live brand and corporate activations.
  • Strong storytelling skills with a deep understanding of narrative structure and character development.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead world-class creative teams, fostering collaboration and creativity.
  • Strong performance direction skills, in a variety of live environments.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with demanding external stakeholders and managing complex relationships.
