At Bio-Rad, we are seeking a highly skilled Statutory Accounting Specialist to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing statutory compliance for the region, ensuring timely reporting, and working closely with other functions to support commercial business and management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Reconcile the statutory ledger to USGAAP with minimal differences and provide insights on performance.
  2. Collaborate with the Tax team to support USGAAP Tax provisioning and return to provision calculations.
  3. Develop a deep understanding of the group's finance, operational, and commercial activities to add value to audits and explain financial data.

Requirements:

  1. Professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA and International equivalents) and a bachelor or masters level degree.
  2. Strong statutory audit background from practice, preferably from Big 4 or top 10 accounting firms.
  3. Excellent Excel skills and ability to work flexibly in an ever-changing work environment.
  4. Good written and verbal English language skills essential.
  5. Knowledge of SAP desirable.
  6. Languages (German/French/Dutch or other) desirable but not essential.
