Position: Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Care First – Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham

Salary: Up to £45,000 (commensurate with experience)

Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Employment Type: Permanent - 52 weeks

Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle

We are in search of a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our clinical team, collaborating to create personalized assessment and intervention strategies for adults facing developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex needs, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Role Overview

In this position, you will adopt a holistic and therapeutic approach to assist our adults in their daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will perform all clinical duties associated with Speech and Language Therapy, adhering to professional and regulatory standards, conducting individual assessments and interventions, and preparing necessary documentation, including report writing. Additionally, you will provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other relevant agencies as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Recognized and relevant degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Registered with the HCPC and RCOT
  • Sensory Integration qualification is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
  • Experience working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities
