Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at one of our hotels. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving sales and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front-of-house, housekeeping, and back-of-house teams.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and energy expenses.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and HR, to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage staff rotas, wages, and training programs.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve staff engagement and retention.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and stakeholders.
