Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of our hotels.
Key Responsibilities- Support the General Manager in the management of hotel operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial management.
- Assist in the development and delivery of staff training and induction processes.
- Ensure the effective use of EPOS systems in bars and the management of cash handling and cash flow.
- Manage staff rotas and wages, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with fellow staff and customers, promoting a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Proven experience in hotel management, with a strong background in customer service and staff management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Experience of managing staff rotas and wages, with a good understanding of financial management principles.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
We offer a competitive salary, plus incremental and performance pay reviews. You will also receive £50 once you have completed basic training and have the opportunity to refer a friend, with a £100 split.
