Are you a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with a passion for leading teams and driving innovation? Do you have a strong background in mechanical systems and a proven track record of success in a leadership role?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at The ONE Group Ltd as a Chief Engineer - Mechanical Systems Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to develop and implement world-class mechanical systems and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement departmental policies, standards, and procedures
  • Manage and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement KPIs to measure team performance
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve team efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, a Master's degree is preferred
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a mechanical engineering department
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and engineering software
  • Proficient in CAD design tools 2D / 3D (CREO, SolidWorks), mechanical simulation tools (ANSYS)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and challenge where necessary
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Tenacity to achieve challenging goals
  • Analytical thinker with a logical and methodical approach to identifying issues and solutions
