Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our Finance Department at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Deputy Chief Finance Officer and contribute to the smooth operation of the department.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Deputy Chief Finance Officer, including preparing reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with the coordination of meetings, events, and projects within the department.
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good level of general education and a vocational Level 3 qualification in Customer Service / Management of Administration or equivalent knowledge base.
- Experience of clerical duties in an office / administration environment, including customer service and IT skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and other relevant systems.
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the NHS and its policies and procedures, would be an advantage.
Language Requirement
The ability to speak English as necessary to undertake the role is essential.
