**Job Title: Credit Controller**

**Location:** Head Office

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Controller to join our growing finance team at Macildowie Recruitment and Retention. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing debt recovery and supporting the Finance department in the timely collection of payments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Client Communication:** Regular communication with clients to ensure invoices are paid on time and resolve any queries or issues.
  • **Account Management:** Investigate and resolve account queries, including issuing credit notes as required, to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • **Credit Management:** Develop and enhance credit management procedures and systems to optimize debt recovery and minimize bad debt.
  • **Collections:** Timely collection of all outstanding debts and customer payments, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues or disputes.
  • **Repayment Plans:** Negotiate repayment plans with clients where necessary, taking into account their financial situation and payment capabilities.
  • **Invoice Resolution:** Resolve invoice-related issues both internally and externally, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
  • **Financial Reporting:** Prepare aged debtor analysis and reports for management, providing insights into debt recovery and credit management performance.
  • **Team Support:** Assist the finance team with other duties as needed, ensuring seamless support and collaboration.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in credit control and debt recovery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
